Born in 1896, Anchor Steam was America's first craft brewery, and they've gone through hell to stay afloat. Surviving earthquakes, fires, multiple accounts of bankruptcy, prohibition, their founder getting run over and killed by a street trolly - it seems like nothing can bring an end to this beer. They've been through some rough times, but they are here to stay.
